What does the future hold?!

Our vision is to purchase an area of woodland as a base for our project as opposed to a rented building in the city center…
What we would like to do is acquire around 10 acres of woodland (at a cost of roughly £60,000)

This area would be used for the majority of the programmes and activities we will be undertaking with the young men and significantly reduce our future running costs.

Some of the plans for this area are:

Erecting sustainable shelters/Eco buildings

Having camping areas.

Clearing an area and having poly tunnel’s for growing fresh fruit and vegetables.

To have some livestock, chickens and ducks etc.

To dig and stock a pond for fishing.

To hold activities there such as archery, bike rides, camping, football, fishing and many more.

To teach these young men the importance of sustainability, woodland maintenance and general respect for nature.

To provide activities in the interests of social welfare and designed to improve their conditions of life.

To offer counselling, support and advice.

To introduce employment and educational opportunities.

To teach sustainable, transferable life skills in the hope creating a more positive ethos.

We believe that through our programmes we will identify the issues and problems these young men are facing and as a result help them to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

This will not be an easy process but it is something that I personally am going to devote the rest of my life to achieving.

Without your continued generosity, help and support none of this would be possible.

Thank you to everyone,
